And yes thank you for being honest. You know there are husbands who cheat on their wives, bring home HIV, infect them and then act like nothing happened. So marrying someone without HIV doesn't guarantee you anything. Moreover imagine if he won you over with his Habar Yonis eyes and you found out after your honeymoon that you're positive too

Basra I sympathise with everyone, I think it's a medical condition I have Lakin being humane and considerate towards others feelings surely goes without saying and not returning his calls is silly. And yes I am endorsing soft gentle rejection, the truth hurts especially when you're already down on one knee - find your inner Jane Bennet and tell him how lovely he is. By the way, HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, Leprosy...I don't think anyone of the people with diseases like these put their hand up and volunteered to get infected. Shit happens and when it's your time to die you die regardless of what disease you do or don't have. A person with HIV might outlive your healthy immune system when you get swine flu or get run over by an horse or fall off the balcony or get eaten by wild cats...the list is endless, there are loads of different ways to die HIV is only one of the lot. But before we all turn back into dust you have to live with what you've got and with HIV you've got a heck of a lot drugs so life is still liveable. You may have to be a bit more careful but you are still the same person and you can live your life just like anyone else. So the question to ask really is are you willing to take the risk of getting a terminal illness for the man you love considering that you're going to die anyway?

You might call it suicidal, you might call it true love depends on how attached you are to love or to health.
