oh my brother has a lot of them in the roof. i just feel sorry for them , because the weather is very hot but he give them a cold shower every now and then.

they have a huge cage for nigh but almost all day they are free and they fly and come back and nights they back and get in their cage, even if we dont lock they still know they homes.

he just lock them for protection. we have other animals that eat them. example our evil cat eats the baby birds.

you know i went to a maxadiro not long ago, and this story came up, and the sheekh said xaram calayk, that should never be done! If a person cannot go to mosque for medical reason, he dont have to, lagumalaha! and therefore it was unnecessary for him to take a dog into mosque!

This kind of thinking is responsible for the fact that there are hardly any wheelchair ramps in most masajid...shameful

why should disabled brothers and sisters be excluded from the masajid? isnt it the nucleus of the Muslim Community? its not only a place of worship...and never was even in our Prophet's time pbuh ...people can come and socialise with other Muslims...get help with whatever issues they face , play sports, get help with their studies even etc etc.


seems like that Shaykh was just being reactionary.

Muslim brothers and sisters should not be excluded from mosques true; there should be alternative and special requirements for them. BUT that doesn’t mean we commit an act that is not practice in Islam just to get some good deeds. If someone is bind, or on a wheelchair and is a man their duty of going to the mosque is no longer force upon them, they may chose to go to if they wish, but they cannot bring a dog (or any haraam act) into a mosque, especially when is not even required to do so. Is not A MUST for women, old and unable people or less able people, handicap and mentality ill people to go the mosque, so maxaa kukalifay!!
