Neither the UK or US recognizes Somaliland as a separate nation but as a part of Somalia. All donor money given to Somaliland is as part of Somalia.

^^^ your very mistaken - all aid that goes to somaliland goes mostly to the somaliland government - it doesnt mean it has to be recognised in order to get their name on the donar . if that was the case - why do you think most of the aid donar goes to South somalia and not somaliland? cause somaliland already distanced themselfs from somalia - and most aid donars i have seen in the uk it has the name somaliland being donated for the state seeking independence
also money projects i have seen being sent on the somaliland Donor Name and not Somalia - the Government of UK and other European counties directly sometimes sent the money to the government of somaliland that shows the recognise the sland government - if they didnt then they would have sent all the money destined for somaliland to the government of xamar but aint the case

ducasayne87, do little more fact finding about the aid to Somaliland and pay litte attention to the letterhead games played by the UN. Somaliland get a portion of the aid to Somalia, and the UN and your local minsitries are in cahoots to put things in local letter-heads for local consumption.
