THe praise was for the government of Abbysinia at that time led by Najashi. It has nothing to do with an eternal praise for the state.

Islam is about patience and disciplin jihad is the last resort and jihad against muslims is haram as you know and the leader aswell as long as he prays am not perfect but am telling you the facts.
Elan Morin Tedronai I will ask you again do you disagree or agree with anything below saxib? tell me ruunti.
6. Islam is intolerant of other faiths
Throughout the Qur'an, Muslims are reminded that they are not the only ones who worship God. Jews and Christians are called "People of the Book," meaning people who have received previous revelations from the One Almighty God that we all worship. The Qur'an also commands Muslims to protect from harm not only mosques, but also monasteries, synagogues, and churches -- because "God is worshipped therein."
7. Islam promotes "jihad" to spread Islam by the sword and kill all unbelievers
The word Jihad stems from an Arabic word which means "to strive." Other related words include "effort," "labor," and "fatigue." Essentially Jihad is an effort to practice religion in the face of oppression and persecution. The effort may come in fighting the evil in your own heart, or in standing up to a dictator. Military effort is included as an option, but as a last resort and not "to spread Islam by the sword."
8. The Quran was written by Muhammad and copied from Christian and Jewish sources
The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of two decades, calling people to worship One Almighty God and to live their lives according to this faith. The Qur'an contains stories of Biblical prophets, because these prophets also preached the message of God. Stories are not merely copied, but the oral traditions are referred to in a way that focuses on the examples and teachings that we can learn from them.

what's all this got to do with the subject at at hand? you went from saying did the prophet bless eithopia to leave the eithopians alone because there are christians living side by side with muslims to cutting and pasting some polemic articles.

What is the purpose of this Q?
The answer is yes the prophet did make Dua for Ethiopia.
Now, think of the time we are talking about and what the lanscape would have been compare to today. It makes absolutely no sense, if you look at what the prophet (saw) said at that time through a 2009 lense. That would be puting 2 and 2 together and coming out with 5!
As far as the political situation in Somalia and Ethiopia is concerned, the statement of the prophet (saw) has no barring what so ever on people (Somalis) defending their dignity!
Ps...Would it be fair to assume that when the prophet (saw) said Baaraka'lah bil xabash (or something along those lines) He meant those that lived in that land, and not just the Amxaar, Tigre Oromos?

I listend sometime ago, Michael Medved, one of the popular American republican rightwing radio talk show hosts on his program saying, If the Ethiopian Christian rulers hadn't granted asylum to prophet Mohammed and his followers when they were persecuted and fled saudi arabia, americans and westerners in general wouldn't have had to deal with Islam extremisim and war on terror.

Muslim history says so, he confessed his oath but Ethiopian history probably says otherwise.
Allex they didn't grant any asylum. God did, by way of them.
