Erigavo is not significant nor is it the hub of Maakhir. That is why Badhan has become the new capital of Maakhir .And the Erigavo can not be compared to Laas Anod, this town was nearly completely occupied when Maakhir State arrived in East Erigavo and the existing admin in the West corner had to accept there presence.
