Loool A/W...I didnt mean to sound like I had such a terrible time, I have a great time in places Westlands, Nyali etc The fewer working class people (HATE Kariakoo in Dar), the better the experience in E.Africa...Coming from someone in the development field...not a great way to behave, but saves a lot of hassle no?

I hate Kenya wallahi! They do this to Somalis all the bloody time! Those bastards have a serious issue with us...they give me hell EVERYTIME Im at Jomo Kenyatta, once even telling me that I wasnt a student, another time telling me to take off my scarf in public, another time holding me back for 2 hours because I didnt appreciate a joke one of the staff made about Somalis...I could go on and on.

You are right, they are b.astards cuz. The night I flew into the Kenya (and NEVER fly in at night anywhere in Africa), there were me, a Somali Canadian Mj woman, and another Somali-American Isaaq woman with her two kids in our flight.

They combined laziness with corruption. Have you seen workers lounging around and not even going to their stamping location when there are nearly 300 people waiting to get stamped? Imagine having to go through that long wait, and being denied a stamp three times for no reason?

They would always turn and say go back. It was after the third time we noticed me and the other two ladies were the only ones getting turned back and we did not even know each other, we just met after realizing we were being singled out for being Somali. Imagine, this is literally 4 hours after we've flown in and my dad had left the airport by that time going go the airline headquarters to find out what the heck was going on. Well the Isaaq woman knew Swahili and she made one of them feel like a dog..Kenyaanka hate it if you say they worship Muzungu and she stepped on his nuts so badly he finally noticed our entrance papers were fine.
