abdi, ur a dream hubby
btw, yesterday one of my mother's friends passed away from childbirth. they did emergency c-section on her to take the child out because by the time she went to the hospital she was alreadyin dyin. today 7 children are without their mother, and thank god their father is a good man, but the entire community is already makin plans on how the children will b taken care of and who husband will have to marry!! the moral of the story is....it's good to have children, but sometimes havin too many children is not good. u never know whether u'll alwayz b there for them. 2-3 is fine, but 7? ages 6 and down?

We as Somalis don't have the problem of pregnancy fat..Only I believe 5% would have that problem. All the Somali women that had babies are just fine..

Koley Reer Virginia ma qabaan problemkaas..

Suga,
AUN to your mom's friend.
All I need are 3 to 4 at most. Anything beyond that is way too much.
I do agree its best to have children while you can. A friend of mine delayed having children and marriage cuz of her career, finding the perfect guy only to find the right man but she was told that she had cysts in her uterus and they had to remove it. Now she can never have any kids. But her husband still loves her and has not left her.

Suga,
I wouldn't want more kids at all. its safer and more reliable than other family planning.

Suga,
Not as extreme as waking up one day so happy the last born, Jimcaale has graduated from college and I am feeling great that I am all set because the kids are grown up and are now on their own.
Mrs. Abdiwahab comes to me and says, "Hey darling, guess what ? I am pregnant !"
Another 21 years of raising a kid instead of enjoying retirement

thats why my parents had all 4 of us within a 5 year period and after that, never had kids again
