Somalia needs an Ataturk

Islam does not cancel out Somali, it is not part of the Somali constitution, we are not Malays. A Somali can be a Christian or a Hindu, a communist or a fascist, a lamagodleey or a barawani and still be accepted by merit of his nationality. That system is what will help pull Somalia into the modern, progressive era, though only one system can rule all Somalis, I hope the communists come to us first.

There's no such thing as Ataturkism, just a group of new ideas mixed in with old ideas that were specific prescriptions for Turkey's problems.

I have respect for communism as well as Ataturk's reforms, but there is not a single Somali who loves his country as Ataturk did and you know it. That's why it'll once again be an outside group that will influence Somalia, and communism is a case in point. I know Ataturk won't surface in a shit hole like Somalia, who can love it?
