1. Somali not \\\'Somalian\\\'.
2. Most Somalis are normal people who can follow rules and are calm and respectful, don\\\'t generalise.

Somalis in the diaspora have a huge chip on their shoulder and choose to express it via self-hate.The Gunners wrote:1. Somali not \\\'Somalian\\\'.

Take FAH for example. He wants to pretend Somali culture is somehow deficient, but has over 7,000 posts on a rap forum glorifying possibly the most degenerate culture in history (African American).
They have problems.

First we're SOMALIS not Somalian.....ramadan09 wrote:why is it so difficult for us (somalians) to follow rules!! i pray in a masjid where most worshipers are my fellow somalians. the masjid has been having difficulties with some of the neighbors who have complained about some of us parking their cars, some times, in front of the neighbor's driveways. they even made close 30-50 complains about the masid to the city. for awhile, the city stood with us until things got out of control. now, they have warned that if the complains continue they might have to do something about it, including the closure of the masjid. to avoid this unthinkable event occuring, the brothers in charge of the masjid repeatedly told us not to do that. however, unfortunetly, brothers kept parking their cars the same way. now the masjid in danger of closure.
and my question is: why we can't follow rules or use common sense???
The Somalis in SEATTLE are backwords, that is why.

FAH, do you support pedophilia and rape?
That is the focal point of Japanese animation is it not? Is this the type of culture you think is superior to Somalia's? This and one where people shoot each other over perceived insults and drugs?
Legit question

Re: why is it so difficult for us to follow....
FAH, do you remember when you said Somalia would only be developed and awoken from it's slumber when we adopted Western (read: American) culture? It didn't make sense, since America isn't homogeneous enough to have a single culture. I think it's clear now that you meant African American culture.
So you'd like prostitution, illegitimate children born out of wedlock, unemployment and rape to become staples of our community?
I'm intrigued. Can you offer clarification, saxib?

FAH, peer-reviewed studies prove African American culture lowers a demographics IQ.
What is your ulterior motive for wanting to make Somalis less intelligent?
Take your time answering the questions

This is why I said the first generation of Somali immigrants to the US should have emulated the Mexicans, the second East Asians and the rest Jews.
But instead we choose to copy the people who've had 400 years to escape their status and still, even with affirmative action and every conceivable advantage are at the bottom of the pile.

Re: why is it so difficult for us to follow....
can we just have an honest discusion about how we can better our communities instead of digging deep into the past!!!
if we keep coming back to the past then the present will become the past
