Sheik Sharif did not have a military force He was simply chosen because some felt that it was time for a "wadaad". I never liked the man but he was a better choice than the other nutty ones like Tahir Aweys.

I knew that Tahir Aweys and his company would never listen to someone like Sharif so why chose a man who can't bring his own clan even the wadaads into government.

Nur Caade was a strong manager, who worked hard to bring a settlement. He was also a good secularist who would have never shown weakness by meeting with the Al Qacida boyz: Mansur, Shongole and others. He would have used force from day # 1 until the Al Qacida realized that negotiation was a better choice.

I would make a better Somali president than all those mentioned.
