The royal family of Sade is the family of Ugaas Sharmaarke Ugaas Diini. Wikipedia mentions a few Ugaas

Ugaas Xirsi Ugaas Maxamed(AUN)
His son Ugaas Cumar Ugaas Xirsi (Reigning Ugaas of Gedo)
And his other son Ugaas Xaashi Ugaas Xirsi (Regent for Ugaas Cumar Ugaas Xirsi until he came of age)

Ugaas Faarax Ugaas Cabdulle (AUN)
His son Ugaas Ziraaji Ugaas Faarax Ugaas Cabdulle (AUN)
And his brother Ugaas Ciise Ugaas Cabdulle (Regent?)
And his other son Ugaas Maxamed Ugaas Faarax Ugaas Cabdulle (Reigning Ugaas of Mudug?)

How did this two-Ugaas system develop, and when did the two royal lineages branch off?

James, when the move to Southern Somalia took place. Since there was a vast land between the two SADE communities there needed to be an Ugaas for Mudug too since the real Ugaas went to Gedo.

Who was the Ugaas when the migration to Gedo occurred?
