"Jihadist" is a rude and offensive term used by the Zionist media. The word Jihad is an inner struggle as well as the right to fight for justice and honor.


Having said thus, PLO and its offshoot Hamas want an independent Palestinian state beyond the artificial UN borders. They differ on whether the goal is achievable? Personally, Only Allah knowns. Empires come and go, but it's not wise policy for the West (and they know it) to be dragged into another World War that is why they keep on pressuring the state of Israel with determination for a two state solution.

With regard to the Issue of Ogaden region, this new development of theological legitimacy by Shariif Abdi Nuur is a bad publicity for the struggle, methinks. For years the ONLF leaders have avoided the Issue of Ogaden to be embroiled in the Wahabi doctrine of global Islamic Government because it gives an ammunition to the ruthless Ethiopian regime and their claim that they are fighting terrorist organization.

From domestic viewpoint, it's a good image boost.

Siyaasad wise many of the political leaders of JWXO living in the diaspora and who are actively campaigning for the cause employ nationalistic rhetoric when communicating with the international community.. these strategies are only designed to bring public awareness and lobby policy makers specially in capitol hill..but on the ground the armed wing (onlf) mujahids shed blood and sweat for the Muslim land under christian occupation...Ogaden is an all-ignored African-Palestine.

People are out there putting their lives on the line daily, getting killed for resisting an occupation and we have ill informed members who have the audacity question the legitimacy of the struggle and dwell on a trivial useless issue as a name over an entire struggle that has cost millions of lives and property that has spanned over 50 years..this topic is too complex for the average western raised Somali who usually doesn't have credible first-hand information at their disposal to understand. It's only with thorough studying, understanding and analysis of true historical facts that one can begin to critically assess the issues.

The burden of proof is upon you when you claim something is Jihad. Jihad and what constitutes it is well known, and if you introduce something as "Jihad Fisabiilillah", the onus is upon you to legitimize your claim by supporting it with Quran and/or Hadith.
