You know, you might not need to beat him up. Just have a quite word with him and see if that works. He may be gay but he is your neighbour and you are stick with him until the day one of you moves out. Tread carefully.

Yep only noisy neighbour, usually very patient but when he has the audacity to call me out when i make noise, makes me mad. I must admit i was on the phone pretty late, just before midnight laakin it was a local call to my sister, not no international to Somalia where i would be screaming, honestly 2 people in their house talking would generate similar noise.

If he knocked on your wall because you were speaking on the phone, chances are your neighbor knows he is being loud when he does that other stuff. Basically this indha adeeg tells me two things 1.) the neighbor waa ma xishoodo and 2.) he thinks he is given a green light because you have never called him out for being loud.

The solution is two fold on your part, civility combined with indho adeeg. First thing to do is get that neighbor and tell them they are loud.

The neighbor can start showing some respect or they continue being loud. Because the neighbor is a ma xishoodo chances are he will be "more" quiet for a little brief time and pick up where he left off again. So the second part of the solution is fight fire with fire. First bang on their wall and demand quit and if it doesn't happen just buy a stereo, pop in some gangsta rap and give them taste of their own medicine.

Ma xishoodayaal need an incentive show respect and usually the incentive has to do with something that affects them personally not just showing respect to people.
