There are many dialects within England. Scousers [Liverpool]. Geordies [Newcastle], London, West Country [Bristol, Plymouth]. Birmingham [which is the worst accent ever of all time].Ismahan123 wrote:@cockney bastard. Accudublilah why you folks cus so much. I always thought there is scotish, Irish and the regular english accent.....now I wonder how do ppl in Manchester sound like.
Almost every city in England has its own accent.Ismahan123 wrote:@cockney bastard. Accudublilah why you folks cus so much. I always thought there is scotish, Irish and the regular english accent.....now I wonder how do ppl in Manchester sound like.
I'll prolly find the scousers to be annoying.Beenaale_No1 wrote:There are many dialects within England. Scousers [Liverpool]. Geordies [Newcastle], London, West Country [Bristol, Plymouth]. It'll sound the same to you though lol cos you can't tell the difference. The American accent all sound the same to me, apart from the Texas one. That's a strong accent.
There's variations in American accent too. Most noticable are probably the Northern & Southern accents. But there are also New England (Massachussetes, Vermont, Maine), North Eastern (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, etc), South Eastern (Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, etc) South Western (Texas, Oklahoma, etc) Cajun (Lousianna) Mid-Western (Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesotta, etc), Western (Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona), Pacific Plain (California, Oregon, Washington).Beenaale_No1 wrote:It'll sound the same to you though lol cos you can't tell the difference.
