The problem with Oromos (muslim Oromos) is not loyalty to habashas, but misplacement of loyalty in general. To be specific;

They enslaved themselves to an ideology of unity with christian Oromos who in their hearts have a soft spot for ethiopia. It's been seen has modern and progressive to have christians in the leadership (ie. the OLF's christian leadership of 30 years and counting). And movements who refused to accept christians (ie. IFLO) were branded backwards, anti-unity, & dividers of Oromos based on religion etc. (as if that were negative), parading around phrases like "religion is for the individual, while nationality is for the nation". And such people are those whom Allah targets for humiliation.

Two classic examples of this is in the horn was when the ELF (Eritrean Muslim resistance in the 60's/70's) founded by Idris Hamid Awate started accepting christians, who later stole their weapons and turned against them (Isayas Afwarqi), and the OLF founded by Sheikh Abdulkarim Ibrahim, accepted christians (in the 70's), who later sewed disunity among them which collapsed the organization, then they seized power, and began to sabotage the movement, resulting finally with the humiliating capitulation in the 90's which brought the TPLF to power. Simply put, Allah humiliated them. Shid, it pains me to tell this story but, I was watching an 18 year old video of IFLO (Oromo Islamic group) entering Harar city when mengistu regime collapsed, one mujahid stood on truck and screamed to the crowd "TAKBEER". The crowd replied "Abbaan biyya Oromoo dha, Abbaan biyya Oromoo dha!" (The fathers of the land are the Oromo! The fathers of the land are the Oromo!). No concept of al walaa wal baraa. And those who do not have this concept end up being humiliated in the end. Things have changed tho, especially after 9/11 many have snapped out of their hypnosis.
Beatifulful written Aliyyi :P
Like I always tell everyone i conversate about oromo politics that the OLF is the problem. People dont realize that the OLF are more ANTI-islamic that the Tplf themselves! The Once leader of the Org Lenchoo Gelata let thousands of Oromos(MAjority Muslim) perish for nothing at the hands of wayaanee by the way of execution or bogus genocide trials that resulted in executions. While he himself became leader of an Pente Christian Organization group for Africa. Not to mention horror stories of Muslim oromo from the east fighting in the South telling how OLF leaders down there controlled somewhat of a totalitarian rule and if you would even beep out the slightest of advice to them to do things different, well that would be the end of you.
But forget the OLF, there are other ways to the path of self governance which favor the Tplf.

suga delic & bareento,

To be honest, numbers are irrelevant, and also Allah says numbers are irrelevant. If chechnyans that are no more than 1% of the Russian population can give the Russians a bloody nose, thats proof enough. I believe Muslims in Ethiopia are much more than 45%, but it doesn't matter. Mecca at one point was 100% mushrik. Demographics change if muslims are doing their job.

bareento,

Dhugaa yoo dubanne obboleeyso, to fight without your religion is like typing without a keyboard. You fight, you die, then you have to meet Allah and explain why you abandoned his religion. Then you say "well you see, Allah, its because of tokkummaa, and oromummaa, and really your religion got in the way of our goal, yaa Rabb". Maal sii deebisa? :lol:

The army of Minilik, although we call it an amhara army, it was more than that. The reason he succeeded where those before him failed, is because he mobilized his entire faith. Habasha Christians, Oromo Christians, European Christians all mobilized behind Minelik. Today they mobilize behind Meles, and believe me it is not because he speaks tigrigna. America can't tell the difference between Meles Zenawi and Dawud Ibsa.

Khanaafi Rabbiin je'e, "wa qaatilul mushrikiina kaaffah kamaa yuqaatilunakum kaaffah". (Akkuma mushrikoonni isinitti tumsan, isiniis (Islaamni) waliin itti tumsaa). Ummanni kheenya tumsa Rabbii swt dhiisanii, tumsa biraa jaarratan (AFD). 'Amantiin kan Abbaati jechaa', Pheenxeen ganda ganda deemtee joollee 'saanii kristaaneysan. You cannot separate Islam and politics. Believe me you will be tested anyways. Like America coming to Hurso among other camps to train Ethiopian troops, and you and I know what happens at Hurso, and the Americans know better than us. But those who cover their eyes and look the other way, to serve a petty nationalist interest, or keep their office in DC, while their brothers scream from the dungeon, they already failed the test. I hope the majority will see the conflict for what it is.

I don't blame Leencho. He is just a kafir tool taking orders from the godfather. The architect and the one giving orders for TPLF to take Addis, eritrea to send in armour and troops to help them, and for Leencho to get OLF out of the way, was the American Jew, Herman Cohen, who was US deputy Secretary of State at the time. So basically the fighters took orders from the commanders, who took orders from Leencho, who took orders from Cohen, who took orders from the Shaytaan.
