The term midgaan is somewhat derogatory I believe the politically correct term now Gabooye. The Gabooye clan comprises of:

1. Tumaal or Iron smiths

2. Muuse Dheryo: Hunter gatherers

4. Reer Talaabacade also hunter gatherers
