Abdikarim,
I express lingual dexterity. For example, when I am hanging out with Northerners, I start speaking like them, Southerner's & sijue too.
The language I am most eager to learn and master is Mandarin.

You won't even be considered unless you're at native level, the last translating firm I was working for had their Spanish translators calling in practically begging for work everyday, and they seldom got it. If they did they were earning a pittance.
A lot of the higher level translating jobs (federal departments, intel agencies, etc) are full of people that speak both English and Spanish as a mother tongue and have have extensive training/certifications in translation, you won't be able to compete with them.
If the TS's ambition is to eventually become a secondary school teacher, go learn Spanish. If you're looking for a language to make a translating career out of or maybe aid you in the business world, there are at least 5 I can name which are better.
The Nomad,
I already work for a English call centre that is based in The Netherlands, The reason why i wanna learn spanish is not for work reason. Spanish is a beautiful language and it's not hard to learn After English Spanish is the second easiest language to learn. A language I'd like to learn as well is chinese mandarin I might do some business there in the future.
