Reminds me of this random lady, I met at the train station one time. Her baby kept looking towards me so I smiled at her & made small talk with the mother. Anyways she tells me how when she was in the delivery room she was screaming her lungs off- practically beating up her hubby and there was this Somali lady next to her that didn't so much as say a word throughout the whole thing.

She was like "is this part of your culture" etc I didn't really know how to reply although I do feel we're expected to be a stoic bunch for some reason :|
