Wait...are you saying that they have the right to sue him...because that is a right entitled to them regardless of what...? Do you OR do you not think that Cali Mahdi is a war criminal?AbdiWahab252 wrote:Knight,

Knight of Wisdom,
Good, now if you have a lawsuit, sue him. I believe in justice for the victims. There is this one war criminal who took a friend of mine's father and he was never seen again.

They were fighting against an occupation of bigger forces. Those who support these forces were dealt with accordingly. It’s the nature of the rebel movement to eliminate all threat presented by their opponent. If Sillanyo done such thing, he did it within the boundaries of the same land he was determined to liberate.Knight of Wisdom wrote:You make sense. However, has Siilaanyo, Ina Kahin and others alike done anything wrong? Lets say...inflicted pain and suffering on other clans other then their own clan? Okay. You said two things that I high-lighted. In this case, the Somaliland Government-to-be (SNM) were fighting against a regime, and thus whomever supported that regime had to be punished accordingly (Killed). You just justified that Said Barre's regime was wrong and its supporters had to be eliminated.Dhaga Bacayl wrote:

NOW, let's turn the table. Was it okay for the Siad Barre regime to fight the rebel movement and punish the supporters of the SNM accordingly (kill)?

Knighyt,
Somalinad government? Are you f-king kidding me? There was no such thing.
The SNM was a rebel movement against established and exiting government with a military power who were occupying their own land. What happens in the battle field was fair gain. You don’t see Ina Kaahin or Sillanyo going around the world trying to sue the regime. The people who are doing it are civilians who were helping their community in cleaning hospitals, schools among others. They didn’t take arms against the government nor did they try to assassinate anyone. They were tortured, mistreated and killed for just being good citizen to their needy people who were neglected by their own government. They have every right to seek justice. Something you know nothing about obviously.
So please stop barking on the wrong tree and blame the victim.

Knight,
SNM believe it or not was a multiclan movement which enjoyed support from a myriad of people opposed to the regime.
SNM did not enjoy that much wide support in the North until Morgan and the MSB took a heavy hand approach that punished all civilians instead of the SNM. This allowed the popularity of SNM to soar.
