Pro-Israel groups, Saudi Arabia, and U.S Attorney Generals are funding this case in support of Gen.Samatr, and are the ones who wanted it to go to the supreme court so that no foreign officials can be sued in US courts for human rights abuses. They want foreign officials to be protected by numerous immunities that shields them from answering for even the most heinous acts. They want the Supreme Court to once and all put this law in place, so there is no more lawsuits similar to this.

about this case, the saddest thing about this is when 20/20 went to samatar's home and this african american dude who they wrongly described as his relative said that Samatar is currently out because he is sick and is on dialysis. what kind of sick person would punish a dying old muslim person.
