I thought the province wasn't dependant on clan demographics, just look at them:
Salal - ciise
Awdal - gadabursi
Gabiley - JB
Hawd - arap
Gaaroodi - ciidagale
WG - Shared
Togdheer - shared
Saaxil - ciise muuse
Saraar - some HJ sub-clan?
Cayn - dhulbahante
Sool - dhulbahante
Sanaag - HY
Badhan - warsangeli
So what does that make it each clan has their province. Waqooyi Galbeed has been divided into gabiley, hawd saaxil & gaaroodi; Togdheer has been divided into cayn & saraar. Soon we may see sub-sub clan provinces like within jibriil abokor, xussein abokor, within HY & HJ in burco.
