Olive Oil; Yh like Basra said what if I saw him again..plus I don't like lying.

Basra; Did you not read the bit about my head being under someone's armpit.

Ismahan; lol I can't even say that in Somali, and that's a worst than just saying no. Maybe he was..maybe he wasn't entertaining himself.Does it matter, when he comes across as genuine?

Serena; lol yes I suppose I do..if my only option are guys who ask random girls for their number.

So he's only supposed to ask girls he knows for their digits? :? What would be the point of that?

Anyway, it's not like he asked every single woman on the train for her number, he asked you. You said he was "normal" & he was nice enough to give up his seat to you. On top of that, you're single but don't intend to be single for life...& you're a "girl who never gives her number out to random guys she meets out in public and has made a conscious decision to have no male friends". Me thinks you should have given the nice guy your number. It's just a number, it's not like the dude asked you to marry him or something. And how do you plan on ever meeting someone if you think every guy who is nice enough to give up his seat for you, chats with you to keep you entertained & then asks for your number is some sort of creep? You haven't called him one outright, but that seems like the point of this thread.

i'd asked this girls number while i waited for the bus stop. Well she came to me and asked me she could use my phone. I said of course, then thats when i asked for her number, She looked pretty and by her side was this dark fat somali ape girl who was here friend, whoo she was looking for and latter came. The thing was i lost the girls number but knew that the girl had called her friend, the fat blick one in my phone, So i asked the fat one to give me the girls number but she refused and said that i behaved weird and untrustworthy and therefore would not. I mean who really cares now it was a long time ago

That is exactly what came to my mind.

In this age and time, consider yrself lucky if a dude asked u yr digits, u should have volunteered but luckily he asked u, so there shouldn't be any hesitation in that regard. Give the number and get laid yareey

Lol I didn't know anything about him..he could be anything or anyone. He asked me for my number based solely on my looks. When I say "know" ..I mean someone you know of, like; someone you've seen around; someone who goes to your uni; someone your friends know etc. Not someone whos only word you have is theirs..they could make up a whole life story and you'd never find out!

I don't do relationships or dating...so when a guy asks for my number..the first thing that comes to mind is where would this go? Yeah we could have good conversations, he could compliment me (lol always good for the ego) but am I gonna marry him? Is this halaal?

Lol and yeah I do tend to think that guys who ask girls they see in shopping centres, public transport and at the bus stop for their number are 'no good'.

Sir: If only that were true...there's far too many shameless guys

Walaal i never called her that, it was just the thoughts in my head. I really wanted to say a lot of nasty things to her.
By Allah swt i knew it would be futile, as the black hippo seemed to have a strong personality .
Anyway it was a long time ago, forgive and forget and who really cares now. I mean i have a nice looking girl who i love very much and is of course much much better than all the girls i had flirted with in the past.

Yes especially on a packed underground train with no air conditioning.

Plus you didn't know when he offered the seat that he would ask for your number, in front of people. What would your answer be, now?

That was when i'd used to be a young skinny naive man, now am sharp, smart and know the game inside out.
These girls you see in the streets are worth shiit. Any decent somali brother is too good for them.
I truly despise the ones that act all arab and religious
