I forgot this one
If you buy a new simcard let a local buy it for you, don't buy it yourself.
As soon as the shopkeeper finds out that you (a foreigner) bought a new simcard he will give your number to local sluts who will call you day in day out
Had to change my number after two days as I received over 50 calls a day from random women

Bring food. It is got to be dried food because they don't allow most liquids on planes. I heard they don't have food in America. I was once told a story of a girl who went there to visit her relatives who ended up dying of starvation.

If your going to Bosaaso, Jeema bottled water buy a box of 24, cost around 45 dollars.
