The typical somali resident is challenged simply to make ends meet and survive from handout to handout they are not overlly concerned with anything more then their local politics. Okey Isee thanks for the info the Makaahils were battling it out with the Bicidyahans couple of years ago, 50 guys dead in one day, ninyahow somalida hawdka dagto waa savages when it comes to warfare.

Lord Diplock, actually Makahiil are not that powerful i have a report somewhere about a conflict between bicidyahan and makahiil which makahiil lost the war and lost many men, lands , villages and some town just couple of years ago.

Xamuud: Cali iyo Xaruun are the principal sub-clans of reer-Issaq (Mohamed Zubeyr). They are the most northern Ogadeen. They share border with the Garxajis.

I can`t say anything about Garxajis boarding Warsengeli and Dhulbahante in Sool and Sanaag, cuz I don`t really know much about them, but I do know that they share Ceerigaabo? Haber Jeclo and Haber Yuniis and Warsengeli and some dhullos live in Ceerigaabo as I have been able to gather, and that`s about it. As for sharing boarders with Ogadeen, so far waxa la sheegay Ibraahim(Sub clan of Maakahil) and Cali and Haruun(reer Issaq)

Xamuud, according to the report it actually lasted more then two days and yes a side lost that is how the war ended according to a reliable report i have somewhere and 1 clan took over another clans territory.
