I now understand what you mean  If a very expensive item is sold very cheap, it is usually a reason for a doubt. Tthe authenticity of the perfume is questionable..Even thoough they say that because there are no overhead expenses involved it is always cheaper at online..

Yea, when something is too good to be true...its almost always is.
Yea, but I would never buy perfume online....your just asking to be conned. :ugeek:

Salam Navy
Are we allowed to wear perfume when we pray? Most have alcohol. My teacher says no. family says no. I went on muslim forum they say yes because you are not consuming it. I googled articles and didn't undderstand. when i look at muslim shopping sites they clearly state they sell alcohol free perfume. whats the deal :| ? i get differnet answers

Ms Nalia,

Yeah its right not all online stores are trust worthy but it does not hurt to check new avenues, right? I bought from the first website, a perfume I wondered how it smells called la jungle by Kenzo (discontinued frm the stores), I thought it will be one a hell scent esp that some tres chique chicks i know recommended it...but it was way heavy for my nose!

Other ways to get nice perfumes without paying high prices is to ask for refill bottled perfume, haven't tried that but will on my next visit to sephora!

Copy & paste,

Have you bought the snake oil yet? merci for the link  I don't know to be honest. But what harm can it cause smelling good and clean when praying. I do not like heavy smells and scents cause some of that can cause irritation to people!

My next sniffing mission, I am planning to try out incanto that firefly recommended last year  , the beat by burberry, Alien by Thierry Mugler, viva la juicy and bronze goddnes by Estee

its probably their best selling perfume. the house of chanel spends a lot of money promoting that perfume... paying millions to high profile celebs to rep that ugly scent.

this proofs the power of advertising... women see movie stars promoting Chanel N°5 and just like that they flock to department stores to buy it.
