Abdi Horus had a lot in common with jesus and maybe muslims are mistaken to say Isa is jesus.
Horus - born of a virgin
Horus - Wondered of into thr desert prior to takingup religious teaching
Horus - Enlightened in his 40ies
Horus - Died for his believes
Horus - resurrected 3 days after death
Horus - Ascended
Horus - believed he would return close to the end of the world.
All the things said about Jesus who may not actually be the muslim Issa.

Cirwaaq,
It is a mere hobby. I remember discussing with my Awowe (AUN) about some ancient mounds he came across in the Ogaden. He told me of artificats found there that were made of silver, gold etc.
Ask your awowe, whatever became of the Ajuuraan Empire ? Why the midgaan are hated simply for being the "Master Race" whose metallurgical skill ensured that they were technologically superior to the nomads and thus oppressed them ? The uprising by the nomads and the crumbling of the Midgaan empire lead to the midgaan being marginalized for eons to prevent the reconstitution of the Midgaan empire to oppress the backwards nomads.

Manarab,
What do you think akhii ?
Re: Muslim Commentators Quoting Scripture Refuting Easter
Because of your unusual interest in Waaqefanna. This isn't the first topic you've written about it; you've done it several times, and made many more comments.AbdiWahab252 wrote:Manarab,

Manarab,
This is a general discussion. All sorts of topics are discussed here.
I am going to discuss Zoroastrianism next.

SomaliStar,
Whats the affinity You have for A/Wahab? If this was anyone else who said they read other books, You'd call them mushrik on the spot

SomaliStar,
Indeed, we are a funny bunch yet some of us don't reference dubious sites to mislead the young and impressionable.
SomaliStar and I are polar opposites yet remain faithful to our causes and positions unlike those who wander from one band to the other.
We also despise Communist Dictator lovers. Reading from the Book of Kacaan is more harmful than the Torah or Bible.

Jesus was crucified by the Romans. That is a historical fact. Of course the whole nonsense about Jesus being seen running around naked 3 days after his crucifixion is complete and utter balderdash worthy Hollywood movie or children fairytale.HutuKing01 wrote: The people saw someone die on the cross. Question is: was that person sayyiduna Jesus aleyhi salaam or someone(a companion/disciple of Jesus pbuh) who was made to look like him by Allah's will?
Given that Crucifixion was Roman punishment for sedition, Jesus was killed for leading (or perceived as such) a rebellion against the Roman Empire. This makes more sense when you consider the fact that Jews under the Roman empire were in full-fledged rebellion against the Romans at the time of Jesus.
Anyways, since I don't subscribe to any organized religion, I must admit that sans the claims of divinity and supernatural powers, Jesus of the Bible was morally exemplar par excellence at least for his times.

There are some contradictions in your comment that point to one conclusion; you're a closet Christian.Hoowle wrote:Jesus was crucified by the Romans. That is a historical fact.
