Re: Dhulbahante have spoken: They Do Not Want SOMALILAND
These meetings do not represent the people of so-called SSC. They represent a vested interest that seeks to replace democracy and development with destruction and hatred. They are stictly organised in terms of clan membership. Please do not take these people serious. They are too busy broadcasting themselves in the comfort of their well-lit function halls seeking to sowed the seeds of hatred in the peaceful and progressive Republic of Somaliland. It pains to me to see people organise events with such grand designs but achieve little or no fruition or, for that matter make little change to the 'facts on the ground' as it were.

discrediting anybody who don't support your little fairytale country is childish and immature. what are you going to say next that people in SSC who repeatedly demonstrated they lack of interest/support and opposition for Smelly-land don't represent themselves?
SSC
Puntland

Re: Dhulbahante have spoken: They Do Not Want SOMALILAND
Thank you for responding back, this is a seldom discussed issue. Its an issue of representation here. There are many Dhulbahante who expressly support the Somaliland Administration and there also those who are against the whole notion of Somaliland, such as yourself. There is no problem with this, but can you point me in the direction of what the people you are running towards have in store for you?Puntland is composed of a group of people who attest allegiance to a tribe before the whole idea of statehood. As for Southern Somalia, well, lets not go there since its either exist in terms of 'villa Somalia' or the various islamo-fascist groups contesting power.
That leaves Somaliland, which though far from perfect is at least making great strides towards democracy and some semblance of nation-building. This point is further supported by Las Anod, which under the jurisdictional yoke of Puntland, didn't see any form of development, but since the Somaliland made attempts of re-integrating Las Anod to the realm, This most important of strategic city has been developed, in fact, the local court system is functioning for the first time since 1998, there are attempts to develop the local economy and to restore stability to all parts of Sool. Something somaliland govt has credited to the local people who have shown resilience and determination to see their city develop.
You have two choice, though I am not one to reduce and simplify things into binary categories, in the case of so called SSC region, its a worthy dichotomy.
1. Somaliland offers positive acts and deeds. Which can be easily demonstrated!
2. Puntland offers tribal allegiance. Who says families are useful? special when they are distant.
P.S - The people of Sool and Sanag and Cayn shared with the people of Somaliland a land, marriage lineage, cultural heritage, tradition, common customs, history, similar dialects, folkloric dances, upbringing, educational system and a colonial system. With the people of Puntland, they share a common clan lineage.

they share the same with ppl in puntland too. a dhulbahante in garowe most likely shares the above you mentioned with mjs more so than a person from zeilac or berbera.P.S - The people of Sool and Sanag and Cayn shared with the people of Somaliland a land, marriage lineage, cultural heritage, tradition, common customs, history, similar dialects, folkloric dances, upbringing, educational system and a colonial system. It's funny how the only ones replying are the jareerteen. Nobody gives a fck about you or your 'harti' propaganda. S/L isn't about clan, it's about people who share the same culture, language/dialect and land. It's about people who have been intermarrying for centuries. Notice the only ones thinking in clan mentality are you fckers. You have absolutely no other argument. By your logic, awdal belongs to djibouti and the Hawd belongs to Habar yonis therefore S/L. Wake up, we have evolved past tribes fighting over land. I think it's about time you morons evolved past this too.
