back on topic

again you are drawing up a paper tiger illusion where you see Somaliland existance as the problem itself.
Dooro should stop believing they have monopoly on Islam and Nationalism in our regions.

Somaliland would have no problem joining the Ummah in de jure manners.
However we would not put us under another maamul ( Somalia )

Ummah would be like the United Nations

and all members have their interests

If Somaliland is asked by the " mighty always correct Ummah " to surrender and join Somalia, that stinks agenda long way
which is not our interest

Surrender, somaliland & puntland are not the same we just don't have the same goals , puntland are happy being part of federal somalia, but somaliland isn't and are aiming for greater things which is why it declared their seccesion from the doomed former nation now known as al-shabab- somalia.

Surrender, OK so there is a united Muslim ummah and you say that they propose that somalia be united. Surely if there was a united muslim ummah why would they still have muslims countries seperate wouldn't the whole idea of a muslim nation be that all muslim countries be joined as one nation. Also if that were the case I would simply say when all muslim countries give up their sovereignity then somaliland will join that ummah, until then..well you know the answer.
Also walaal I know from your posts that you believe greater somalia is still a possibility, but I will just say to you djibouti, somaliland, ogaden and nfd will never in a million years want to join a country like somalia, especially djibouti as they have a respected country with their own identity so why in the hell would they give that up?

Surrender would you be happy for your reer abti to join an independent Somaliland?
As for your question. Its not even close to a dream let alone reality so rather then entertaining yourself with an impossible dream you need to accept that Somalia's current situation wont change whether you spend your time like some directing your energy on hating Somaliland for giving up on the notion of a single nation, or like yourself on the ummah. Somalia is doomed.

Invalid question. A more appropriate question would be "Somalilanders, would you relinquish your secessionist ambitions if Israel asked you to?"

That is true, but as far as I know they can’t obviously join the Muslim ummah physically, so they choose the best of each country to rule that area right? I mean forget greater Somalia what about if they decide to join the whole of East Africa as one entity and the best of the Muslim Ummah in that area becomes the ruler, then what? Are you guys still going to have this Somaliland fixation in your head? Would the Ummah and Islamic Empire do you a favourite because you want this so badly?

Greater Somalia is something I will never forget and will one day come true under the ruler of just man, but for what is worth Djbouti is better off under Al shabaab than on their own, they are the illegitimate leftovers of the French rule there is nothing respectful about that country, that is, if the definition of ‘respect’ still stands.

No I will not want SSC to join Somaliland, SSC is part of Somalia and will always be, I’m not hating on Somaliland, I am trying to understand when we are going through this much rough time (by we I mean Muslims as a whole, and Somalis in particular) why would you guys put yourselves in that much hardship, knowing well and true if the Islamic empire comes into power tomorrow this whole Somaliland, puntland thing wont exist for 24hrs. We should work for great things and not for something has no value what so ever. Would you believe me if I told you, you will maybe benefit from this Somaliland idea, but give two generations, or even one, there is no benefit for them as they gain nothing out of it. You have to think about the long term what will happen after i die. If you know that the more we separate the weaker get, and the weaker we get, the more our enemies exploit us why have this idea in your head? Many of you have this notion in your heads that just because Hergaysa doesn’t look like Xamar, that your ‘peaceful’ yes you are if you comparing yourself with that hell of hole called capital city, but if you are to compare yourselves with average standard of living and quality of life for a human being, then you have it as bad as Xamar and the rest of Somalia. Only difference is rest of Somalia living in reality and you guys are the victim of your fantasy and is this fantasy that will work against you in the long term.

Surrender, no again I will say that SL will only join when all do and if it's physically impossible then east africa, including ethiopia, eritrea and kenya wouldn't be a bad idea.
Also your logic is silly that SL shouldn't waste their time in getting recognition because the muslim ummah will be united in the future, that's like saying don't go to uni or study because yaumal qiyama will happen in the future.

Say for hypothetical reason, (well not hypothetical even, it could happen and will happen Insha’Allah, Muslim Unity I mean) Islam becomes the dominant religion, the superpower of the world, the golden age of Islam once again begins, you know Islam believes in unity and the notion of 'Ummah', and whatever/whoever are the leaders of Islamic Empire asks you to join Somalia, because they don’t believe in separatism, independence, and democracy all that unnecessary stuff that will make us (Muslims) weaker, because better off united, would you do it?

Would you go for the idea of one Ummah and for the sake of that one Ummah would you join Greater Somalia if it was brought to you by powerful united Islamic Empire?

Disclaimer: I do not want this to turn into bashing thread nor should I be hold accountable for the emotional retards of snet. Just genuine question.
