1st and foremost Advo...I work with cadaan men, study with cadaan men...are you saying I should avoid them and hide in the loos when everyone is off home or to a meeting somewhere? No...If one is innocent in their actions and way of living, one has nothing to hide from judgmental islaamo who like to talk trash about young women who arent waste girls like their daughters. The worst islaamo are the ones with the worst daughters, the lies Ive seen them they propagate to ruin the reputation of another woman's child hold no boundaries (I have consoled quite a few of these poor girls they have ruined through xaasid bull). So Im not hiding from good members of the community, I mean the bitches who have unemployed sluts and alcoholics for daughters.

Secondly, not all girls are hiding jareer and high foreheads lol some wear it to fit in with other Somali girls...there is a clear division in the muslim community between hijabi's and non hijabi's...and there are further divisions between said groups. Many Somali girls fit into the hijabi girls who dress this way, doesnt make them bad people, they are just a clique...only Allah knows about their intentions.

Thirdly, I agree that hypocrites are rife in the Somali community and many young people use that as an excuse to go against diinta...I see that as hypocrisy, but a girl doing what she does in the 'open' open is honest...because she would've already done it openly, just not in front of those she knows. At this point she is able to gain help from people she knows, her parents are aware and can advice her...I hate the way people think its hiding a sin when in fact you are in public doing the same shit in front of people you dont know...

How do you propose that they need role models when a lot of these kids have such great parents 24/7 around them...at least a great mum...they just need to be spoken to in a frank manner...its too tempting to hide shit from Somali parents because of the way they flip out  They just need to chill out and actually talk to their kids from when they are young.

I came to think its all about marketing and the male population segment they r targeting ("religious" or "modernists")
Some lost souls try to maximize their catch probability by targeting both segments hence u see them in both uniforms :?

i dont care much about Transformers, we have them here. every man is for him/herself at the end of the day. if what they do makes them happy, thats up to them. but dont they worry that when they leave the house with abayaah/full covered, and change it to revealing clothes that their parents will one day catch them out?

whats pisses me off are full covered girls that go to sheesha places and smoke, bisinka, how embarrassing, the shame they bring us. if you going to do something that hurt you alone, thats up you, but when the name of muslim girls/women are on the line, i would suggest some girls to change the way they behave.

i was talking to this guys once and he asked why im wearing the hijaab, i said my religion, my faith allows be to free within my clothes, im liberating myself from men staring at me, to walk pass man and know that no matter how badly he wants to talk to you, he cant see whats underneath the abayaah, is freedom itself. some bullshit like that. sound smater then. anyway he said whats up with hijaabi girls that come to local shisha place every wednesday night, i see so many hijaabi girls, Somalis as well. are you guys allowed to smoke? obviously i told him anything that harms your health is not allowed is islam, men or women, and if these girls are doing what you are saying, is their choice. but i can understand where his coming from.

Advo so you saying they wear the hijaab because they have timo jareer and big foreheads, thats the only reason Somali girls the hijaab? cajiib. many of us infact dont have timo jareersan, heck not a single person in my family has timo jareersan, my brothers, mother, sisters the whole lot waa wada timo jilicsanahay. some of us actually wear it for the purpose of asturaad. whether we get negative comments from galo or muslims like you alike, is not going to make decen god fearing girls change their mind about hijaab.

^^^ I think he meant the girls that wear a scarf but are still naked in other ways abaayo...not all women who wear hijab.

Those girls in the shiisha bars with bare mandem...have been nicknamed 'hoejabis' as opposed to 'hijabi' :|

But Yhh I do agree with one of your point GG but cant elaborate right now.

Surrender, no I aint talking about respectable Xijaabi sisters, I got more love for them than I do for myself, however that doesnt mean every chick with a scarf on her head is legit, some of them are doing it for personal reasons like bad hair day, too lazy to comb their hair etc

Ironman   Somali style garbasaar and guntiino is the best way to go.

Advo, you have nothing to do with their complete transformation. Maxaa kaa galay? I just think they're hypocrites. One even went as far as begging me not to tell her family. I'm thinkin CHILLAX, get off my hand and go do you. I don't tell girl's business to their parents/waalidiin waayo it's none of my business and at the end of the day.

surrender, I think you misquoted me hun. I could give a rats ass about transformers and their friends. It becomes my business when they stick their nose in other's life. For instance, a jilbaab girl can wear jilbaab in broad daylight AND look at you with utter disgust and talks shit amongst her girls just because you're not wearing hijab. At the end of the day, every man IS for himself but that goes both ways. I mean, what's this? Hazing?   I don't endorse girls who dress like sluts so don't get me wrong There's a way to dress tastefully without showing your DDs and jeans so tight you get confused if they're painted on or just plain jeans.

Gedo, LOL that's how it SHOULD be. Be stylish and rock the hijab, right? We have girls like that too and Wallahi I have respect for them. In fact, I think many of them chose a style that fits their personality/looks.

AW, what makes you think they're wonderful women? LOL

all this comes down to not what these girls want, but what the faraxs want. i've seen xalimos cover up because the guy they're interested in likes hijabis, and those who uncover because they think they will get attention that way...

i think this more about the laws of attraction more so than the laws of God.

SegsiK,

I love conflicted women. The way it plays out with the Transformers is a Farax is sold a false bill of goods either Liberal or Conservative/Religious type.

Farax can play it to his advantage either way.

If she came across wearing the Tent, he can flip the script and state he is not into tent wearing sisters.

If Farax met her out and about at a club, he can always tell her he was into the Apple Bottom Anisa not Jamiilo Jalabiib.

To flavor things up, Farax should also "educate" the sister that there can be no future due to the inappropriate relationship and that he has also had a religious enlightenment and thus there can be no future between them.

Nothing is more hilarious than a Pseudoreligious freak who suddenly wants a Farax to settle down with her after all the nastiness. As Farax has already done his religious homework, he can give her numerous reasons all that have a religious basis, why the two can not wed ? The look on her face is priceless when she finds out that Liberal Farax is indeed a Closet Conservative and a fellow Transformer too.
