Its really hard to refute that, that's why many like AW252 skip that part and go straight to the "dictator" talk.
Very well said. A lot of rewinding, fast forwarding and pausing of the movie, even though we've all seen the movie and know it inside out. Look at the last paragraph. A sabatoge mission that came back to bite in the worst way and affected the perpetraters disproportionately.

Using Warsame's cannibalized documents as facts. His entire strategy is take quotes out of context and then use them as pieces of history. What a fabulous world that kid lives

Taking a quote out of context, is When You take a quote and it does not mimmick reality in any way, shape or form. However When those quote embelish the reality on the ground, You are using it in context.
"Aideed drew upon the largely landless, homeless, and deprived young herdsmen, who had no families in the city. To ensure their loalty, the enterprising commander provided them both a cause and periodic
rewards of loot and shelter. The young soldiers, or
moryean, subsited on raids and protection money paid by businessmen"
Lool...This author who obviously did His research, here draws on biliqo, and mooryanism staples and trademarks of the USC which all Somalis attest to. However You're absolutely right, this quote was taken out of context

As the text showed, Aidid was just a jealous man who didn't know how to rule, only to take away. Lets not make him out to be a politician or a statesman, he was only a thug and pillager, nothing more. He had no aim to lead Somalia, only that there would be no Somalia after he came.

Murux,
Those kind of kiddy tactics mislead the naive and ignorants like you. You should look past warsame's misleadings and read what the book says about the regime. But then, you are pathetic toad that only knows how to giggle. Such a failure.
The regime's crimes and history is well-documented and litany of studies have been carried out on its crimes. You can't wash that away even if you were given the Indian ocean for a day

The same is true with MSB and all the other Frankensteins he created and unleashed on the Somali people

I'm willing to give that MSB Aun was a dictator. On the same token A/Wahab, Twisted want us to think the USC was like South Africa's Peoples Liberation Army, and Caydiid was Nelson Mandela. Yes MSB made a lot of mistakes, some even devastating, however to even mention Him in the same breath with a Caydiid or the previous regime to the USC is delusion to the nth degree.

None-sense.
MSB is responsible for the very invention of the crimes Aideed is accused of. You can't accuse the son for the crimes of the father. What crime did Aideed commit that MSB didn't?

This is Why I stopped even having discourse with You for the past 2 years, due to Your emotion and lack of ability to debate like a Man, but to resort to feminine nagging behavior. Back to the discussion, Comparing a Government or Dictatorship no matter how bad it is, to a certified demolotion crew a la the Interhamwe's of the world, is beyond mind boggling. Infact the Interhamwe was even better, at least they had machettes. People die, but to cause billions of dollars in property damage, When that same "Dictator" left it to You on a silver platter 100% intact. A jewel of a City, that Had functioning electricity, Institution buildings so ministries could resume function, factories, Universites, civic buildings, Human Recourse and Man power (Before they were all exiled by the mooryaan mentioned in the book) and the list goes on and on, was destroyed and flattened. The same group (USC) that captured the city, used Tanks, RPG's, BM's, etc. within the city, and within the same group. This was a tradegy, a crime against Nationhood, and a death kneal to Somalia, yet You want to continue to rail against the "dictator". Feel free though, continue on as bitterness Has Had a permenent affect on Your rationalization.

Horta, you are Murux, you shouldn't be accusing one of " emotional and lack of ability to debate like a man" and all the self-descriptions you listed. You don't debate with me because every-time you do, your case gets destroyed. Simple as that. You are not capable of meaningful discussions. Just giggling.
There is NO reason why one should look at Mogadishu in isolation. The collapse of the Somali state started in what is now Somaliland, reached its climax in the Central regions and finally made its conclusion in Mogadishu. Despite your silly emotional diarrhea, the facts are stacked up against you. There was battles in Mogadishu and the dictator's troops were notorious for killing civilians simply because they happened to be from a certain clan. In the video I posted, Dr Hussain Haji Bood is appealing to the clan-elders of the dictator and warning that through the actions of the regime, similar acts could be committed against them and their clan. Of course, he was right and the same crimes they initiated came to haunt them. This is what you don't get. The USC defeated the regime block by block until it was toppled. In fact, the dictator was so stubborn, that even though his very people abandoned him, he continued to believe that victory could be achieved that he was the very last one to leave. The fact that he actually tried to make his way into Mogadishu AFTER he was kicked out simply shows how hollow your assertions are. There is no way you are going to tell us that the dictator hoped to come back to Mogadishu by singing his way into town.
By the time the dictator fell, the entire infrastructure of the North was destroyed, and people were divided along clan-lines throughout the country. The dictator was responsible for both factors and he alone deserves blame for what ensued.

TL what you fail to understand sxb is that to the supporters of the late dictator Somalia's destruction is not the issue they are more bothered about the destrucion of their utopian lives in xamer. The case against Hawiye is not about destroying Somalia because if that was the case it could be asked of Isaaqs however the reason why most venom is directed at you guys is because you destroyed their dreams in xamer. Why else would they ignore reality which is that Somalia under the late dictator was a runaway train and it was only a matter of time before it went of the rails. Why else would they ignore so many facts and opinions and constantly eachtime go back to the destruction of xamer as if xamer was Somalia.
Somalia was destroyed by Siad Barre and Xamer was destroyed by Hawiyes.

Only on Snet you find people pleading on behalf of USC. Wallaahi nobody would ever make excuses for them in real life without looking back and check who's behind them, anonymity makes people brave.

Exactly.
The same people who shed these crocodile tears for Somalia are the very ones that deny the massacres of the people of Northern Somalia and apologize for the dictator when the history is so richly documented.
They are not interested in justice and the rule of the law. Just nostalgic about the Booli Qaran days.
