a friend of mine who visited ADama ( formerly Nazeret) told me that if any somali spend a month or two in an Oromo city he will end up speaking afaan oromo with no problem.

The reason I asked was that your word for your number ten in the Somali language translates to "complete"
Is the word for nose in your language "uff"

That's exactly what it means in Somali too
But I was reading a book soe time back.and it said that the Oromo word for nose was uff
Obviously not true though

Yeah, i think it might be an Arab word? not sure. Western Oromos Say Ishh.

Eesuumo for you moms bro

Haaboo for your moms sis
and Aadadaa for your dads sis.

uffisuu if am not mistaken is the face.

can you beleive the ear in af oromo is dhageeytii it is like dhag and sounds like dhagteeydii or dhageeysii

Ear is Gur'raa? dunno how to spell it. And Dhageeytii i think is how you say hear in the western parts of oromia, in haragee we say dhageessa

Why do Xabashis look down on Oromos, and Why are Oromos so loyal to Amharics? A few hundred Ogadeeni bravehearts with heart give the Wooyane and Meles sleeples nights, while Oromos comb the injir hair of Amharic and Tigray filth :down:
