Maya sis, all the food isn't bad, many times I have seen a very delicious food wasted...

Can they not take it home? They could put it special food bags. That's what happened the last aroos I went to, and it was a Somali one. No food was thrown. The mother of the groom refused to throw a single morsel away.

Somalis also love to take just a sip out of a soda can or water bottle and just leave it on the table without finishing it.
Cleaning up after we had Nikax in our house was such a nightmare, even had to dump food in the forest out back and let the deer or foxes eat it.

This is the norm...

and most of the time before they have finished the first one, they have the audacity to ask for another one " Eeddo, ii keen faanto"

I keep telling people to buy the small bottle water...even though they are more expensive.
