But on a serious note: Inalilaah how can these animals do this? I mean---this not the first one. In iraq and afghanistan, mosques have been known to be destroyed. What the point of fighting for your deen, inventing cute band names like al shabaab or talibaan, supposedly fighting for shariah law and Muslimniimo if you go and destroy the very worship house of your cause? Oxymoron?

It is an ideology. The concept of somalinimo is quite new and foreign to us. Sure we all spoke somali and whatever, but "somali" as a politically and culturally unique concept was introduced in the beginning - middle of the 20th century. I am one of those people who believe that somalis aren't a single, unique and homogenous ethnic group but a melting pot of different peoples who've come together. If we can't fuction and behave like human beings together, then it's best we all went our separate ways. I thought there was one hope for somalis, and that was deen. But they have even turned the most pure and beautiful idea of islam into something sick, twisted and evil. I have no hope for somalis, may allah guide them to the right path. I tolerated 20 years of war, poverty, rape and pillage. I had tolerated dictatorship, warlordism, corruption, nepotism and qabilism. I had even tolerated previous, horrendous suicide bombings against innocent civilians and students. But I have officially drawn the line after these animals had taken their moryanism into the house of Allah SWT.
