And while we're at it can we fire like 400 MP's. There is no reason why Somalia needs 550 members of Parliament

I think its a good sign of democratic process as long as we are able to sack someone or have someone resign.
The French revolution was going through a lot of choas and sacking and resigning until they finally Napolean raise to power to save french and build a strong government and took over all of europe.

I thought the PM was a decent man.
But if the accusation is that the government hasn't done anything since its formation, shouldn't the president also be held accountable, since his group is in power? Sharif should have resigned for the sake of the Somali people.

TL,
Kursii buuxsheey did not have the ability to do anything. The Pillsbury Boy spent too much time drinking Coca cola, and chewing too much qaad.
Now let us see if the Dugsi teacher can do any better.

Ayatollah Awale would be a solid candidate. I would go back and work closely with his regime for free.

i hope ina sharmaarke wont be reappointed. sharif seems to have matured politically by essentially taking drastic steps to resolve the barlamaan conflict. since he was seen outside of the conflict, he capilalized on that by appealing to madoobe and ina sharmaarke. i dont like the settlement as is being prematurely reported. giving positions to both man will do no good, and will certainly maintain the same status quo. sharif could make a bigger impact by taking both guys off, and appointing a new prime minister with a mission, and one hopes for an experienced hand at the tiller this time around. a smaller ministers and pms would make sharif a revolutionary.

I really feel bad for those still looking to the TFG to solve Somalia's problems.
