If you're a few years older than her and you're her adeer, she needs to start calling you adeer. I try to keep it platonic with my relatives, I don't even joke with them too much. I used to be her adeer when she was a teenager, now I am her "Abowe" We have all had our awkward moments after being very friendly, sibling like with a cousin who for one reason, catches a feeling. You are then left in an akward position of telling your cousin you are not into them that way, hopefully by the phone or net.
