Emperior, do you know in the late 80 and early 90's before the liberation of somaliland Maydh was the only place where the SNM use to dock weapons from? since berbera was occupied at that time by the siad barre regime but the siad barre regime never dared to occupy or come near the holy settlement of Maydh and where the tomb of sheikh isxaaq is located.

It's interesting to note in the book futah al habasha they mention Maydh's inhabitants as being Harti, so my question is what happened to those hartis were they pushed out of Maydh?

I think some chapters can be found online but not the whole book, you have to buy that 1 from either amazon or ebay or some other bookstore.
