but honestly i know the day snet died. it was when people got personal. before that we all used to joke, diss, fight even rip each other part - figuratively and still laugh the next day. people got personal. this is what happens when people think this is Somalia and want to play dirty politics with people's lives. RIP indeed.

Surrender what people say here shouldn't be taken as nothing more then a joke. If people take something on the internet seriously they need to step away from their computers and log off forever.

Moving on the the fact the matter is this forum died based on a number of reasons, first because people who had differences of opinions were banned. A forum can stay as lively as the people who are in it, if everyone has the personality and objectives. It all seems like the same person writing over and over again.

The other fact is that there are too many mods, and frankly some of them are like 17. Come on. A 17-year-old cannot wake up by themselves with the help of mommy and they expect that person to be able to mod a whole forum? Give me break!

Alluring: yes harmless jokes shouldnt be taken serious and as matter of fact they never were. but when people personally attack individuals because of differences of opinions - thats when snet died. when someone you dont agree with makes new nick to personally attack you on daily basis, even changing his qabil, gender and religion on the way just to attack you - thats when snet died. when people personally attack your religion, your mother and everything you stand for just because you dont agree with them on something - thats when snet died. when people with 99 nicks followed you around the troll he/she is because you had disagreement in another thread - thats when snet died. people dont know how to have fun unless they personally attack someone. multi nicking, hacking, followed on facebook the list goes on - thats when snet died. and you know what happened as a result? everyone pulled back. their personality i mean. the fun, lively person we knew in snet changes all of a sudden, and i dont blame him/her is because of how they were treated. snet in just a forum and if people are saying people shouldnt take things serious then why make it serious? is hacking not serious??? or maybe thats a joke too.
