Now all those who were intent on causing genocide, or were responsible for killing innocent people the world over can face the court without being shielded under immunity. This will at least give the claimants some form of a level-playing field and access to fair trail.

Including the former senior NSS Officer, the current Somaliland president??

Shaamboo,

I am also forwarding this article to my Rer Mahad Habaryar whose husband was killed because of being accused of being a SSDF sympathizer.

Justice is coming.
Come on AW, I know of Marehans who claimed to be HG harrassed by the Marehan boogeymen, just to gain asylum. Luckily my father said he would never lower himself like that

Shaamboo.

Sadly, her husband was not a fighter nor did he know the SSDF but even if he did, doesn't qualify him being executed merely on suspicion ?

You better keep your head or it could be you next....

Koronto sxb, how can you be a munaafaq and a muslim at the same time. This man was the second in command of a government that systematic killed its citizens without any due process. At least the peace of sh!t is getting that which is more then his victims got from him. My question is dont you think your a hypocrite when you wont alllow a man accused to prove his innocence. Wa munaafaqnimo tasi, let him prove his innocence if he is innocent.

xoogSADE,

Samatar is the most visible and highest ranking official. Once you nail a big war criminal like him, it will follow down to the minor fish.

Justice is coming

P.S. Civil suits are just as effective. Imagine seeing your personal assets being seized in a judgment and being forced to conceal your assets to avoid payment will force you to leave the states.

That's my instance as well. Simple common sense goes a long way these days, unfortunately.

Grandpapa,

Scholarship saxiib.

Shaamboo,

Abti, this case is not limited to qabiil. Why are you changing your tune now ? There were people here who cheered the pursuit of Caydiid (AUN), the arrest of Ayatollah Abdi Hasan Awale, etc yet when it comes to persecuting the founders of organized human rights violations i.e. the Barre regime, it becomes an issue ?
