Nevertheless it has religious purpose behind it. is like saying im taking part in celebration of the Prophet's birthday scw, not because of religious reasons, just for fun! wouldnt it still be haraam.

SOmalia didn't exist at that time. Read the futuah Al Xabash, he was fighting SOmali clans for not contributing to Jihad. Again, find a bette name like Abdullahi Yusuf, Shariff or hirale. Those names suit you better, lol.

are you sure about that? do you even know the history behind it?
Blackvelvet he might aswell.
it doesnt matter, sin is a sin, and i am 100% sure waiving the Christian flag whilst you claim to be Muslim is a sin. and simply sin doesnt become good by the intention. if today someone walks around outside naked, because he/she's intetion was good, does that make it any better? the fact that the act its self is haraam is enough. what your thoughts are not the point. you cant commit a sin because of good intentions and i know many Muslims are ignorant about why christian flag would be deemed as 'haraam'.

I suppose you have a point.
Saint George was a Palestinian *a christian waliba*
But i've also heard that we as Muslims aren't suppose to fly any flag.. mainly because it promotes disunity
