You're right, back home pimps were mostly women. The biggest brothel in Kismayo was operated by an old lady named mama ceebla. Qajac khaniis means effimate men sxb, i.e. naago shaneeye.

The Somali word for pimp is not fataal/fataalad(for female). fataal means someone who tells information that was given to him in trust to others, (especially to people who are not meant to know). i.e. secrets. while he/she has nothing to gain from it. Basically it is qofka dadka u kala sheekeeya

The word 'dayuus' is the nearest equivalent to pimp. in Somali culture dayuusiin are rare but dayuusad/dayuusado (female pimp(s)) have got a near total monopoly on this profession.

Sorry,Dayuus is nin aan ka qiiroon marka xaaskiisa faaxisho sameeyso.dayuus is the kind of guy who will tell others about the activities in his bedroom or let his wife wear indecent clothes in public.so far fataal or gawaad aa ugu macquulsan.
