Wallahi the professor waa nin dhaarsan. He sat there calmly and destroyed every excuse the one guy put up. The most damning were the ones about setting the act of union straight, the standing climate that led to the 1991 "referendum" and finally the part where he talks about the tribal corruption around 23 min. Lakin he is from there and has a right to contest. I support them to separate.

what made me laugh was when he tried to indict that these so called election were the first for the horn and mr. samatar was like no sxb dont try that. there was free elections in somalia in 1961,1964 and 1969. 25 years before any african country.

Samatar didn’t visit his mother who died few years back never even attented the burial he never went to Somaliland for 27 years he was living outside his country ,
little he knows about Somaliland, and its constitution and its referendum , or Somaliland politics
do real belief that.
ok this professor samatar arguement.
firstly this so called somaliland's constitution is nothing more than clan document designed for a particular group or clan.
secondly, this so called referendum was only voted for by a particular clan. for example the people in SSC did not cast a single ballot.
thirdly 'somaliland's' politics is nothing but mere tribal politics. ie beesh reer hebel baa kulmiye ku biirtay.lool or wasiirka beesha reer hebel.
and finally people like mr samatar who object to this clan lead secession are not allowed to express their views. are you tell me mr samatar would be allowed to raise the somali falg in hargeysaa.
sxb if you believe in this propaganda and the manufactured history of this clan project that your problem but dont try to make it out as if it were real democracy.
^ he can raise a Somalia

flag if he is an employee of the future Somalia embassy in the Republic of Somaliland.

One cannot equally raise the nazi flag in deutchland , does that not make it a democracy ?
Secondly the guy didnt say that these electionns were the first in the Horn of Africa or somalia for that matter, he knows it very well we in somaliland already had a couple . He said Somaliland was having free and democratic elections and
"THAT IS WHAT SETS IT APART FROM ITS NEIGHBOUR" .
Samatar had to interject the part where Somalia had elections in the 1960s blahblahblahblah .

Exactly its all about how he makes him self understandable , not about his accent

well the problem was not his accent or his english, the problem for him and (somaliland) was that his fallacies and somaliland manufactured tribal history was destroyed by learned man that is professor samatar.

I noticed those who hate and dont believe in somaliland, when they talk about the good things somaliland has done, they put it as northern somalia, laakin when they talk about the negetive aspects they quickly rush to 'somaliland'..
The worse enemy to somaliland, are those within. Samatar and his entire family should be deported

Hate it or love, to ever be recognized as independent you need Somalia's signature and Somalia today is more Faqash than it ever was. Ya got Sheikh Hotel clapping for aabe Siyaad.
A few days after meeting him, I head back to the presidential compound to attend the army day ceremonies. On one side of the hall are dozens of newly trained recruits, all in uniforms and boots supplied by the foreign powers that trained them, from France to Sudan and Djibouti....
On the wall at the front a projector shows a film in sepia shades of a Somali army parade, men dressed in camouflage or beige uniforms marching in perfect rhythm, followed by tanks, trucks and artillery pieces, and planes passing in the sky, accompanied by the commentary of a deep-voiced man.
The image moves from the parade ground to the stands to show the former president Siad Barre in dark sunglasses.
At this, the hall erupts in applause and cheers for the former president. The film was from the late 1970s, when Somalia had one of the strongest armies in Africa, explains one of the officers next to me.

Only the Faqash can give you what you desire and I am of them who want to give it to you.

what kind of an analogy is that. on what reasoning and logic do you base this comparison on? firstly, germany is a unified country and there is no break region.
secondly, the Nazi flag symbolises an ideology rather than a land and its people.
thirdly, the entire german nation voted on the germany constitution.
