Can't ever see kids being forced to sing 'god save the queen' here in the UK, although the british aren't very patriotic.

"God save the Queen" sounds powerful, I'm sure reciting that on a daily basis would make the Brits more patriotic.

Nah, most of them think it's crap because they think that their country doesn't need a monarchy. They much prefer 'Rule Britannia' and I agree it's a very powerful song. Also they like it because it reminds them of the strength the british empire.

Koronto, I'm here for another month... gonna really take advantage of it... going to Jabal Nabi Musa this week and checking out the rest of Sinai.

Insha'Allah I want to go to Saceed Masr, and check out Luxcor/Aswan area later this month and go back to Qahira for a couple things

If you're ever in Al-Ma3aadi in Cairo, go to Al-Diglah and check out the American school there. We used to live 3 blocks from the school.

Did you visit the Alexandria library? Take lots of pics and put them on your fb.
