It seems that most of the words are quite similar to the xamar lahjad, that would mean that af maay is simply another dialect of somali rather than a seperate language, wouldn't you say so?

When it is spoken you sure would think it is some other language.

You have better chance of understanding Rendile then May May.

Its a different dialect, not a different language. Somali waa maay iyo maxaa tiri
