I think us Somalilanders (some ahead of others) have reached the stage of no comeback when it comes to unity. I speaking as one who use to support unity feel that it would be suicidal to unite with Somalia. We will not risk everything, our fragile peace and democracy inorder to lift the southerners, only for them to bomb us back to the stone age once they get back to good health. When your clear about Somaliland and Puntland then you should speak. You've never been to either and you dont understand the plight. Waaqoyi Galbeed+Awdal+Togdheer are so minor no one cares as much as they shout no one cares.

cirwaaq if u want to find a solution fro anything south of galkacyo well you need to esteblesh a state for these provinces something like that of the puntland , and later then you can make a federal goverment with the pirate state etc, but first a mamuul in xammar with out the tfg . just to set everthing right federal can come later

Koonfur is not in a state that you could handle even if we gave you permission to deal with Al-shabab as you please, your people are not willing to risk the loss of life for zero economic return to you.

Puntland and somaliland have relative peace, the topic is under what circumstances can a union be entertained... everything has it's price.
