Shabab because of their discipline have been able to defeat most TFG forces but whenever they faced an equally determined opponent (ASWJ in central regions or Barre Hiiraale's personal staff) they were either defeated or it was a virtual bloodbath and needed help from other islamist groups to achieve victory.

Nimaan ku furi doonin yaanu kuu rarin. I think any foreign invasion will increase the support to Al-Shabaab. At the end of the day when the dust settles and the mourning ends, Ugandans will question the involvent of their army in a country that has done no harm to them in the past. They will question the blood of their sons and daughters split at the behest of foreign government(s) and they will question the cost of being mercenaries in other people's land. I read a report which mentioned the death of Ugandans in the sands of Iraq is countless.
