That is the culture udun. There is a famous line somalis from central Somalia are known for when you tell them something: "Ma adigaa yiri", it is the first salvo and an argument from them that must end in their favour whether they have it right or wrong(which mostly they are --> very wrong). Up north where somalis there call themselves Somalilanders, the saying goes "Dee waan daadshay". It is rare to meet a somali, young and old in Somalia specially who isn't an expert on everything.
