As for when Islam came to Somalia, if Sahaba came to Ethiopia in the 7th century, then Islam was in Somalia before it reached Syria. But I don't think the sahaba crossed Somalia or converted any ethiopians when they came.

Also please brother refrain from using the term 'wahabi'. You are basically labelling a group with one of the attributes/name of Allah swt. Many ulema have spoke out against this term and the manner it is used.
