I think 12 is too young to marry, you should wait at least 10 more years before you start looking.

I am asking out of curiosity

And the way I see it, there's nothing wrong with wanting a raaliyo provided the husband does not over-step the marital boundaries and abuse her conjugal rights. Marriage is about mutual respect & shared responsibilities, this means husbands shouldn't expect their wives to accept everything he dishes at her, wives should know when to let their husbands be men and when to put him in place. I've seen many women do this, without blowing things out of proportion.
We all want different things. Respect, rights, boudaries, balance...beautiful

That's how it was meant to me. Arrogance on either side is a sure road to failure.

depends how u define raaliyo. Do you mean some1 who listens and understands or is it someone who acts like a pet. My vote can go either way.

Since you're young I should point out that the thing about educated women is that they can detect bullshit and will call you on it. So the only guys who are scared of educated women are those who only know how to talk rubbish. Inshallah you will grow up to be a better man than those guys

I heard of this man who married this lady and divorced after just under 2 years. Before the process to terminate the marriege began he went to her family and told them of his intentions. When asked what has she done? or on what grounds? His reply was that my wife is everything i had ever wished for a wife to be and more, she cooks, cleans, never argues with, she gives me sound advice on financial matters, when i'm happy she is happy, when i'm not she feels what i feel and she comforts me. And at that point the father of the wife intrupted him and i had once dream about such wife once and i thought it didnt exist. but get to the point and tell us the problems. he instructed him. I have just told youwhat the problem is with you daughter adding '' dee nimanyahow qoftu waa RAALIYO''. he was told he was one lucky man and to keep his and keep it secrete. To cut a long story short, he insisted on the divorce and his reason beign that if he keep this women he feared that WALLEE ALLEH WAA IGU CADAABI RAALIYO EE INTEE GOGGOORTAHEY'' basically the man feared that Allah will punish him for not treating his wife 'raaliyo'' as good as she had treated(giving her due). he wanted a bad woman or much lesser women so he wont be expected to give her much back in return.( In terms of good deeds and gratitude).

So taking lessons from this story amonsgt many others plus a very li'l experience I would Deffinetly not want a raaliyo, i would want a woman who treats me just as i treat her not more nor bettter. because i maynot pay her back in kind in dunya or aakhira. I have one woman who i will never be able to pay back the debt that i owe not even a little and whome Im indebted to for eternity, i would not, i ccould not have another one.
