Actually its the other way around. women don't listen good. when men are talking, they only use the front right part of the brain, leaving the rest of the brain to analyze, memorize/remember etc. while women are talking they use both their left and right brain, with no space left for analyzing and remembering. that is why women are forgetful.

Anthropologist Helen Fisher takes a more anthropological outlook of
female listening superiority. From her point of view, millions of years ago on the grasslands of Africa, women stayed around the hearth when men left for months at a time to hunt. A woman's acute sensitivity to listening probably developed because of her babies-she had to listen for their cries while defending against predators.

One person is not a good sample test. I am curious about gender differences and why we're made how we are, if you believe in creation then Hawa was specifically made for Adam and I just like to ponder on that wisdom. So answer the question please

Can you listen and think/feel at the same time?

I think it depends on the individual and I think I am a good listener sometimes and not on other occasions. So it all depends on the individual and how respectful he is to his wife. It all comes down to respect and has nothing to do with brain cells as you put it. That is at least my view.
Btw, good luck with this man and woman war crusade that you have embarked on.

There is such confusion about this matter!

Let me simplify - the verbal, sorting, detail-oriented side of the brain is the left, whereas the spatial intuitive nonverbal side is the right. Who is more verbal, the average man or woman? Why Men can't hold a conversation and watch TV at the same time? Why do you think women have trouble with parallel parking?
Why women can't tell left from right?
A male brain is configured to concentrate on one specific task only, giving him a "one thing at a time" approach.
Men's brains are specialised. But women are experts at multitasking.
Ps.Respect perception is a reflection of the different organisation and priorities of your brain!
