I think Iidoors claim every place they have 1 person. There was a time I remember several iidoors on this site used to claim that Jijiga is an Iidoor town.

One last thing to show you how this type of census taking is unreliable, The Liban region was once recorded to have 900k - 1 million population, making it the 2nd most populous Somali region. But in the last few stats taken, it shows close to 500k or half of what they estimated in early nineties.

Parts of Liban were added to the Oromia federal region so it is no surprise it lost a lot of population to be honest. Isqabqabsi between Somalis like the one you are engaging in right now on this site caused the Somalis to lose their land to the Boran because th Degodiya ended up signing a alliance treaty with the Boran against other Somali clans.

Last few days, the illigitimate sons of BucurBacayr (The Guda+biirsi) were flatering their xafajo souls and comparing themselves to the mighty Isaaq nation.

In this particular thread, I would like to state few undisputed facts.

1. Isaaq has 3 Federal Representives while Gudobiirsi had nothing before 2010 election. In 2010 election, one Gudabiirsey naanaab stole a seat that belonged to Ciise and as such sent their first ever Federal parliamentarian to Addis. The three Isaaqi Representatives are Sacad Muuse, Idagala (Aware) and Habar Yoonis (Gashanmo).
2. Isaaqi land mass in Ethiopia is 10 times bigger than that of Gudo+biirsi
3. Isaaqs settle some major towns including Harta sheekh, Aware, Gaashaamo, Wajaale, Harshin, Danot etc. Harta Sheekha alone is twice as big as Aw Barre, the largest GudoBiiris settlement in Ethiopia.

With those facts alone, comparing GudoBiiris to Isaaq is like comparing Nepal to China.

Here is the list of Federal reps before last election. The clan proportion is some what the same with few exceptions like Gudobiiris gaining one seat and Ciise losing one of their four seats.


The Gudabiiris land is same or less than that of Sacad Muuse.



This bullshit about AwBarre having 340,000 population and 260,000 of those voting is beyond believable.How could that be possible!!! Does that mean even 3 month-old infants were allowed to vote. Plus, AwBarre has 70,000 more people than Jigjiga woreda, come on!! This aerial survey method they conducted in the Somali zone is lacking credibility. The same damn survey records AwBare town has more people than a city twice its size(Harta-Sheikh).

One last thing about AwBare district is why didn't those numbers translate into federal parliamentary seats! There was no single Federal rep before last election for the Indha-xabaglayaasha.

these are not major towns they are tiny towns.. Aware and Gashamo is 95,000 each. Harshin is 80 Danot is 47. ur largest is Kebri byaha in which u only compose 1/2 of pop. ( and im being too generous) .
all in all u Isxaars dont make up even 300,000

Answer to your rebuttles

1. Oromos hold 187 seats out of 547 Federal seats or 34%. They got those seats because of their number. And "NO" they can't be in power unless they got to Simple majority of 275 seats. The reason to do the census and have election is to be represented. In your case you are saying they counted us but our numbers don't mean a shit You failed adeer
2. We are not in Saudi Arabia adeer and size do matter unless you live in the Majeerteen desert. Jibriil Abokor, who are comparable to Sabkaroon, have large settlement in Ethiopia along Axmed Cabdalle and Reer Samatar subclans os Sacad Muuse. Also Most of Ciidagale Live in Ethiopia. Arab lives in Ethiopia and recently fought Ogaadeens in Yoocaale. Most of Xirsi Cismaan, the largest HY subclan, live in Ethiopia.

3. When I said we live "major towns" I was referring to the Somali standard dee ayeeyo. Isaaq have atleast 4 towns that are bigger than the largest Xafajo settlement of AwBaaro. You failed on this one too

NOW I KNOW WHY.  
I will post 2 maps that clearly show this AwBarre district you are boosting about stretches all the way to the southern tip of Jibriil Abokor deegaan and as such was counted as part of Awbarre when the census was done.  All those Jibriil Abokor  areas now comes under Jigjiga district. But If you look the map closely, you will see the Jigjiga district BORDER ends 20 KM east of Jigjiga which will definately tell you Jibriil Abokor numbers were counted under Awbare.
